Children and Young Persons Support

Just ONE's Children and Young Persons Service is innovative, responsive and needs led. Our service provides both accommodation and support to a variety of young people including:

• Care Leavers
• Young Homeless
• Young Offenders
• Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children
• Young Parents
• Young People with Complex and additional needs

the highest quality. In many circumstances, these are costed in a way that makes a tenancy sustainable for the young persons, once Just ONE Service delivery has come to conclusion.

Just ONE's support staff are from a variety of backgrounds including Health, Social Work, Housing, Probation and Education. Specifically recruited and trained to work within this particular portfolio, they are briefed to support young people who have a variety of needs in relation to:

• Social, Emotional and Mental Health
• Sexual Health/Sexual Boundaries
• Self Esteem
• Identity/Ethnicity
• Managing Finance
• Cooking & Diets
• Relationships/Attachments
• Self-Harm
• Offending Behaviours
• Anger Management
• Physical Health
• Substance Misuse
• Challenging Behaviours
• Loss & Bereavement
• Education & Employment

All our young people have individual support plans in place to support the move to independence. These are agreed with the young person and the placing authority. Young people are involved in the interviewing and selection of their own staff team.

As Just ONE is also a CQC Registered Domiciliary Care Agency, we also successfully support young people with complex needs and disability.
