Meet the Team

Paul Tomlinson

Operations Manager

Paul joined Just ONE in 2005. He has an abundance of experience in management, finance, customer service and business and is directly responsible for all operational issues within the business and ensures service delivery is personalised, effective and safe.

 

Paul has numerous NVQ's in leadership and management and over19 years experience in business. His experience and 'eye for detail' confirms that Just ONE is delivering a cost effective, reliable and first class service.

His enthusiasm for Project Management, Strategic Management and Operational Management research is supported by his interest in health & social care legislation and business ethics.

Sport! Sport! Sport! Paul has three boys and coaches an under 10's football team (has FA coaching badges). He also helps coach the children's cricket team and likes nothing better than spending time with his family to relax?..if there is no sport on TV!


Greg Price

Business Development Manager

Greg joined Just ONE from one of the UK's largest multifaceted consultancies in August 2011. With a background in business development for large multi-national construction, property and infrastructure organisations he is now using his commercial knowledge in the health & social care sector.

Having graduated with a First Class (Hons) degree in Business Management and the Pam Jackson award for achieving overall highest results in the faculty, Greg is perfectly positioned to ensure Just ONE are achieving achievable, strategic growth whilst continually delivering an innovative and first class service.

 

Risk Management, Strategic Marketing and Operational Strategy are Greg's main interest in the workplace and he is looking to begin a  Masters Degree early next year (work permitting!).

Greg has three kids and is a keen follower of any sport - whatsoever. He tries to play golf as often as time permits but is more likely to be found walking around shopping centres of a Saturday afternoon than at the 19th hole!


Chris Hunt

Recruitment Manager

Chris has been with Just ONE since December 2007 as a Senior Recruitment Consultant and now Recruitment Manager. He has vast experience of managing client contracts with local authorities, health departments and third sector organisations. Previous to Just ONE Chris was a Manager at a North West nursing & social care agency. Chris started his career in social care as a support worker for adults with brain injuries, learning disabilities and mental health.

Educated to Degree Level at Liverpool John Moores University and with a background in both support work and management, Chris has recently completed his NVQ Level 3 in Management.

 

Day to day operation of Just ONE's social care contracts and liaising with workers and clients takes up the majority of Chris' day. He has a particular interest in the growth of the children's service currently supplied to children with disabilities teams and acquired brain Injury case management companies.

Chris is a keen gym user, follows football and rugby and lives in Wavertree with his partner and daughter.

 

Helia Asadbeck

Social Care Consultant

Helia is from Sweden with an Iranian background and speaks a number of languages, Swedish, Farsi and English (and a bit of French). Employed by Just One since June 2011, Helia was quickly promoted to Social Care Consultant.

After graduating with a 2:1 honours degree in Psychology & Biology from Liverpool John Moores University, Helia continued her professional development, post qualification, with training in child safeguarding, understanding self harm, managing aggression and conflict and acquired brain injury training. She has also completed her basic counselling training and solution brief focused therapy training.  Helia is undergoing her NVQ Level 2 in Team Leading and is qualified to train staff in understanding the support needs of prisoners families.

Helia recruits, co-ordinates, inducts and helps manage the support before supervising the staff in supporting children, families and adults with a range of complex support needs. Support varies from Childrens and young people's support with behavioural issues to family support for families who are not coping due to an abundance of issues. A diligent and very pragmatic individual, Helia is the link that co-ordinates our different services so effectively.

Her spare time is spent in the charity sector with the ADHD Foundation and Anthony Walker Foundation (AWF). Helia works and volunteers in programmes to promote diversity and tolerance amongst children and young people. She also leads the AWF young offender's programme for hate crime offenders in the Youth Offending Service. Helia likes to party, travel, read and swim and hates washing her hair!

 

Ross Anderson

Children & Young Person Manager

Ross's background has worked in multiple fields in social care from adult mental health services to children's drug and alcohol services. He has worked extensively in both residential and community based settings and has widespread knowledge of designing and delivering training in the social care sector. Ross also has vast experience delivering outdoor pursuit's education.

Rossgraduated from Manchester Metropolitan University with a 2.1 Hons Degree in Applied Psychology. He also has numerous social work qualifications and has benefited from all-encompassing training across a wide range of disciplines from PACE to Solution Focused Brief Therapy.

Risk management and intervention with young people across a range of issues and situations is Ross's chosen motivation and he enjoys problem solving.

Ross was born in Scotland and now lives in Liverpool. He is married and has two kids, whom he loves to spend time with. Ross has a wide range of interests including military fitness, reading and motor cycle racing.


Rachel Lindon

Registered Area Manager

Rachel joined Just ONE from a large charitable based organisation. Her career began as a support worker before being promoted to Assistant Manager, then Team Manager. Rachel has project managed a number of services from domiciliary care to supported living, caring for service users with varied needs and abilities.

Rachel has completed her level 2 and 3 NVQ in care, NVQ level 4 in Management and has successfully completed all relevant mandatory healthcare training. Rachel is qualified in person centered thinking skills, team development and supervision & appraisal. Rachel was also a dignity in care champion for Knowsley.

 

Always keen to learn new skills and develop further, whether this is a qualification or a training course, Rachel also likes team building and positive team dynamics. Her passion is to make sure that client's paperwork is personal to them, is completed to a high standard and accurately maintained. Her methodical approach to carrying out tasks and working to deadlines ensures Just ONE's clients are kept informed, safe and secure.

 

Rachel lives with her husband and three dogs. She loves anything to do with cars and would have a new car every day if she could! Rachel spends time with her family at weekends and when the weather is nice, will be walking her dogs in Delamere forest.


 

Jennie Millington

Deputy Area Manager

Jennie began her career at Just ONE in 2010 as a Support Worker. Jennie has tonnes of health & social care experience, especially inthe Wirral area. Promoted to Care Coordinator in December 2010, Jennie has been a true revelationabout the office. In August 2011 she was fastracked to the position of Deputy Area Manager as recognition for all her hard work and professional approach to dealing with rota's and clients.

 

Currently working on her NVQ in Management, Jennie has a plethora of qualificationsand certificates, such as, AVCE Social Care, NVQ 2&3 in Care and NVQ 2 in Customer Care, to name but a few.

 

Jennie is passionate about providing a high standard of support and care to clients. She firmly believes that by positively supporting staff in the workplace and ensuring they are reguarly trained and monitored, high levels of service delivery will naturally follow.

 

Married with 2 children, Jennie enjoys the family life. When she's got a minute to herself, Jennie will try to go the gym or take part in fitness classes. A keen dancer - Jennie has been known to need to haveher open toed shoes, re-soled and heeled after a good nightout dancing on more than one occasion!


 

 

Sue Thomas

Social & Healthcare Manager

Sue has lived in North Wales all her life and has vast experience of the care sector in the area. She has hands on knowledge of working with clients and brings to Just ONE a strong local knowledge of the area. Her experience is based prominently around local Government although she has supported clients privately.

 

Currently studying for an NVQ 3, Sue has all the mandatory qualifications expected from a care worker with her level of experience. Her Success in completing a number of courses from the Dementia Services Development Centre Wales' has been supported by extra study in Dementia for Professional Staff. Sue also has a Level 4 in POVA.

 

Quality of care and making sure clients and staff are exactly matched is what drives Sue on. Her belief that the person centered approach is key to well-being is underpinned by confidentiality, respect and understanding of our clients needs. Although she enjoys the auditing and risk management side of care, Sue's main passion is getting out and meeting clients, staff and prospective partners.

Sue is a proud grandmother and enjoys Camping, caravanning, cooking and waterskiing! Her Sundays roast is renowned throughout the Wrexham area and her reputation for making 'moreish' Baileys Cheesecake goes even further afield.


Joanne Mallon

Administrative Manager

Joanne joined just ONE four years ago, having previously worked for an international social care recruitment agency. Joanne has a vast amount of recruitment knowledge and experience within social care recruitment and is integral to Just ONE's success.

 

Joanne has undertaken all of her NVQ's in Business Administration and is currently working towards her NVQ Level 3 in Management. Joanne is now looking to begin her Level 4 in Management.

 

Joanne has one son, who is a keen footballer. She spends a great deal of her time supporting him and his football teams. This often involves following them around the country in football tournaments or playing against other Premier League football academies. When Joanne is not doing this, she likes spending time, shopping and having some pamper time to her self - this only happens every six months!


Edna Green

Credit Control

Edna joined the finance control department at Just ONE in spring 2008. Edna successfully managed her own retail business for over 15 years and also managed licensed premises for over 20 years. Edna's experience of dealing with management, finance and business is vast, whilst her understanding of customer service is second to none.

Edna has numerous NVQ's in, Numeracy & Literacy, Business Administration, Computers and Floristry. Since joining Just ONE, Accounts Sage level 1 & 2 with a First Class Pass have been successfully achieved.

 

Edna enjoys dealing with customers and clients on a daily basis. Her eye for detail would be a distinct advantage for any blue chip organisation and her ability to multi task is much appreciated. Going forward, Edna would like to learn more about VAT and payroll and be involved in contractual issues more.

Edna enjoys cooking, having family and friends over and generally socialising. Edna also likes gardening, (not specifically gardening, but growing flowers and herbs) and likes to take sun filled holidays.


Leah Lawler

Administrator

Leah has been at Just ONE since September 2008. Just ONE is Leah's first vocational role and she is proving to be a real success. Her approach to customer service and administrative tasks is professional and mature, whilst her ambition and attitude is infectious.

Leah studied Travel & Tourism at St Julies, a specialist language school, before changing to form a career in accountancy. Leah has a level 2 in AAT and NVQ level 3 in Business Administration and will be starting level 4 imminently. Leah is currently studying at Knowsley Community College of an evening to gain her AAT qualification.

 

All accountancy work interests Leah. She especially enjoys the payroll side of the business as well as effectively organising the administrative tasks that are vitally important to Just ONE. In the future, Leah is looking to study for ACCA accreditation which will provide a platform for her to become a Chartered Accountant.

 

Leah enjoys socilaising, reading and going the gym. Her three dogs take up a lot of her time and she enjoys taking them for a walk of a weekend to "blow away the cobwebs". Las Vegas is next on Leah's 'to do list' and she plans more travelling over the coming years with Thailand, China and Australia on her hit list.


Kayleigh Lawler

Administrator

Kayleigh joined Just ONE in 2006, leaving the company to concentrate on customer service before returning in September 2011. Kayleigh studied at St Julies, a specialist language school, before beginning a placement at the Young Persons Opportunity Project (YPOP). Whilst at YPOP Kayleigh completed her NVQ's in Business Administration, Customer Service and I.T.

 

Kayleigh is arguably Just ONE's most pleasant member of staff, always happy and willing to offer help for any department. Her flexible approach to work (and ease at picking things up quickly) ensures the office runs effectively and smoothly, irrespective of workloads or timeframes.

 

Kayleigh would like to develop her knowledge of the social care sector and better understand the financial implications for the business. Her next step in personal development is starting an NVQ in Healthcare.

 

A female Jensen Button in the making, Kayleigh is looking to buy her first car ASAP, although she is currently being hindered by excessive insurance premiums. Of a weekend, Kayleigh enjoys the Liverpool nightlife and going out with Leah, her sister.

 

Karan Martin

Administrator

Karan joined Just ONE from the hospitality sector. Previously, Karan was a retail manager at John Lennon airport for 6 years. She has held various management positions in retail and has always worked in customer facing environments.

 

Karan graduated from Hope University with a combined degree in English Literature & History. Although the academic lifestyle was a fantastic experience, Karan believes she benefited most by developing supportive skills such as, planning, structure and logical thinking.

 

Her main interest at Just ONE is ensuring references are sought for new candidates. Karan's ability to work effectively, systematically and co-ordinated ensures our staff always match the high standard we set ourselves. Karan would also love to learn more about the company & work in other areas of the business.

 

Karan's a mother of one and interested in holistic therapies, i.e. Reiki & crystal healing and loves meeting up with friends & family. As keen reader, Karan can happily spend hours with her kindle!

 

Bit of a daredevil at heart,  Karan has previously enjoyed camel riding in the desert and a static line parachute jump at 2200ft! However, this still didn't cure her fear of heights!
