Going Greener

Just ONE's on-going effort to contribute, positively, to environmental issues has witnessed the company working closely with professional advisors.  Being an innovative provider of Health & Social Care Solutions, Just ONE has introduced a strategic policy and plan to help lower their Carbon footprint.

Just ONE has recently been commended by the Welsh Government Regional Centre Service for its approach to environmental management.

"Just ONE has developed an environmental management system to enable the company to measure, manage and minimise their impact on the environment. Just ONE is working with an environmental advisor to identify their environmental impacts, legal requirements and pollution risks and develop an action plan to reduce these impacts, comply with the legal requirements, and prevent pollution.

The company's commitments over the next 12 months include reducing business travel by use of video-conferencing facilities where practical, developing an energy awareness campaign for the staff and to reduce, reuse or recycle waste where possible. Just ONE has already achieved a reduction in paper and ink consumption by implementing a strict printing policy.  

The environmental advisor supports the company by providing confidential and impartial advice and guidance on all aspects of environmental management".
