A young male recently moved to our semi-independent house in Chorley from North Wales and has re-started his education this week after a break of almost 12 months.
K requested a move from his home town to escape a drug culture he had become involved, in his own way he was vulnerable as he was easy influenced and unable to say NO to his ‘friends’ this meant he was constantly getting into trouble.
K made the brave decision to move to another town where he has no family or friends to make a fresh start, more than 65 miles away from his family, this has turned out to be the best decision he has made.
He has been free of drugs for almost 5 months and will start his construction course this week. He is a shining example of how a young person can turn their life around.
