Just ONE are rated as ‘Compliant’ by the Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) for our approach to delivering care/support to Individuals in supported living or their own home or to access the community.

Living as independently as possible is vitally important to our Individuals and Just ONE.

Positive risk taking, progression and reablement underpins our support. Active support, and, where needed, positive behavioural support will ensure we deliver a person-centred, outcome-based service.

 

Our aim is to ensure Individuals can:

  • Live as independently as possible
  • Receive care/support in the least restrictive way possible
  • Live in their own home by maintaining a tenancy/licence agreement, rental, or ownership
  • Have full choice and control, including who delivers it and how
  • Have their voice and wishes heard
  • Receive a flexible service which responds to their individual preferences and needs
  • Have the opportunity to undertake activities such as employment, education, and volunteering
  • Stay healthy and well
  • Feel supported and protected with their support workers
  • Maintain relationships with family and friends

Our support teams are highly trained and use a person-centred approach. We are dedicated to supporting Individuals in a way that work for them – totally bespoke. Our attention to detail and insistence on reliability and stability.

All Individuals have a personal, assessment at inception that ensures they are involved in all decisions regarding how their package is set up and managed.

 

What we do:

  • Provide outcome focused, person-centred and responsive support that helps achieve the Individual’s full potential
  • Ensure the Individual’s views, wishes, aspirations and goals are taken into account
  • Support and enable each Individual to build on and develop existing skills whilst learning new skills, maximising their potential to be independent
  • Utilise Assistive Technology to promote independence
  • Support the achievement of personal outcomes by working with families, other partners, and organisations
  • Work in partnership with other agencies to ensure seamless delivery is achieved
  • Develop and maintain systems to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the Service

We encourage our Individuals to participate in the process of recruiting staff. This may include contributing towards the writing of job descriptions, skill matching forms, and interviewing potential staff members.
