Just ONE is seeking an experienced Children and Young Person's Coordinator to join our company as we go through a period of rapid growth. The Coordinator liaises with social worker for young people who are 16+ to support them to live independently.

This role is extremely fast paced and requires someone who can manage their time, prioritise and be resilient whilst working under pressure and to deadlines.

Based at our Liverpool Head Office, working hours will be Monday – Friday 8:30am-5pm.

* The role will entail driving to meet individuals and attending meetings, so a driving license and business insurance is required

Main Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring support is provided to Young People according to all relevant regulations, policies or procedures
  • Provide assessments for potential Young People to support their wishes and outcomes
  • Carry out regular reviews with employees
  • Liaise with all social workers and local authorities as required
  • Provide excellent customer service levels to individuals and local authorities
  • Accountable for employee rotas’
  • Ensure we deliver a enabling model of support to all
  • Carry out spot checks, supervisions and appraisals with employees
  • Provide an on call out of hours service as part of a rotated team
  • Maintain excellent and accurate communication between department and management

The Coordinator will have the following skills:

  • Able to work autonomously and in a team effectively
  • Effective communication and listening skills
  • Able to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Self-motivated and committed to the role

Essential Criteria:

  • NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care or Children’s and Young Person (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience as a Coordinator
  • Hold a current UK driving licence
  • Computer literate with experience of MS Office
  • 2 years working with young people
  • 1+years as a coordinator/Senior Role
     

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience of managing a team
  • Experience of Electronic Systems for scheduling
  • Successful applicants will be required to have an enhanced DBS
