Just ONE is seeking Support Workers in Flint to join our team providing exceptional care and support to individuals. The Support Worker will ensure that they provide care and support in a person-centred way and give the individuals the opportunity to maintain their independence and gain new skills.

What you’ll get in return:

Full Time Contract – over £22,000 per annum based on 48hr a week

Main Responsibilities include:

  • Provide personal care to individuals (dependant on package of support)
  • Support individuals in line with their person-centred plans
  • Support individuals in the day-to-day tasks involved in ordinary living
  • Administer medication (dependant on package of support)
  • Raise any safeguarding concerns regarding the individual
  • Enable individuals to gain and maintain independence
  • Support with individuals’ finances
  • Take individuals to social activities
  • Organise medical appointments for individuals
  • Record daily activities
  • Maintain family and friends contact with individual
  • Maintain daily paperwork to a high standard

Essential Skills:

  • Committed to and passionate about supporting and developing others
  • Has a person-centred approach, seeing people as people, irrespective of disability
  • Have a clear desire and commitment to working to company values openly and honestly
  • Shift pattern could include days, evenings, nights and sleeps

Desirable skills:

  • A Full UK Driving License (preferred)
  • QCF Level 2 in Health and Social Care (preferred)
  • Ability to prioritise actions to achieve goals set
